Outside Sales Representative – Electrical

Location – St. John’s, NL

The company is seeking an outside sales representative for its Newfoundland & Labrador sales territorial area, a business oriented self motivated, energetic person to join its team in St. John’s NL. This person must bring positive energy and enthusiasm to work with them each day and have excellent people skills.  We are interested in high performing individuals looking for personal and professional development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate specifications related for the company’s C.S.A  represents
  • Generate new and repeat sales and achieve sales goals and budgets
  • Determine client’s requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent client service.
  • Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing clients.
  • Call past clients and cold call new sales leads to generate sales.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to determine the needs of clients.
  • Maintain a complete record of events and call cycle report through our structured ISO 9001sales system.
  • Work as part of a team environment with inside sales.

Requirements

  • CET or C. Tech. qualification with Commercial/Industrial Electrical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience to commercial/industrial electrical clients.
  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to adapt to difficult situations with diplomacy and tactical.
  • Must have strong initiative and problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.
